Short Description
You were never meant to fit neatly into one colour. The In Full Colour Earrings celebrate all the pieces that make you distinctly yourself — the unexpected combinations, contradictions and little details that could never belong to anyone else. A line of colourful beads leads to a hand-hammered golden disc, each mark intentionally left visible. A reminder that being fully yourself was never about becoming perfect. It was about becoming more you.
The Story
There is something I really like about these being slightly imperfect.
Every hammered mark is different. The colours don’t follow one neat palette. Even the two earrings aren't exact copies of one another.
And that feels rather fitting for True Colours.
Because individuality isn't about creating a polished version of yourself for the world to approve of. It's about letting all the pieces belong — the bright ones, the quiet ones, the unexpected ones and the ones you may once have tried to tone down.
The colourful seed beads represent that individuality: the characteristics, experiences and contradictions that make your story distinctly yours.
Below them hangs an organically shaped, hand-hammered golden disc. Its surface carries the evidence of how it was made rather than hiding it.
Together, they are a small reminder:
You don't have to become more like everyone else to belong. You get to show up in full colour.

I would want you to tell me the actual metal/material of the hooks, wire and hammered discs before we publish that portion. From a photograph I can describe them as gold-tone, but I don't want to call something brass, gold-filled, plated, etc. unless we know.
Because each piece is made by hand, subtle differences in hammer marks, shape and bead placement are part of its character rather than flaws. No two will be perfectly identical.
Gifting
These would make a particularly meaningful birthday or milestone gift for someone who has grown more comfortable being exactly who she is — or for the person you simply want to tell, “I see you, and I wouldn't change a thing.”
At Sentimental Gems, each piece is crafted with purpose using thoughtfully chosen materials that balance beauty, durability, and energetic alignment.
We work with a variety of metals, including:
- Sterling Silver – classic, high-quality, and long-lasting
- Silver-Plated & 18K Gold-Plated – ideal for lightweight, affordable designs with a touch of elegance
- Surgical Steel – hypoallergenic and perfect for sensitive skin
- Brass – earthy, warm-toned, and great for grounding energy
- 14K Gold-Filled – a durable, higher-quality gold option that resists tarnishing with proper care
✦ Caring for Your Jewelry
To ensure your piece remains beautiful and energetically aligned, we recommend the following:
- Avoid water and harsh chemicals – remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, or applying lotions and perfumes.
- Store mindfully – keep your pieces in a dry place, preferably in a pouch or jewelry box to prevent scratches or tarnish.
- Polish gently – use a soft cloth to clean and restore shine. For sterling silver or gold-filled pieces, a gentle jewelry polishing cloth works best.
With mindful care, your jewelry will continue to carry your intentions and energy beautifully for years to come.
Every piece from Sentimental Gems is designed to carry more than just style — it carries intention. Whether you’re wearing it as a daily reminder, using it to support your energy, or gifting it with meaning, your jewelry becomes a personal talisman.
We believe caring for your jewelry is also a form of caring for your energy. Just as you tend to the physical materials, you can cleanse your piece energetically by setting fresh intentions, placing it under moonlight, or simply pausing to reflect on what it represents to you.
Because jewelry should do more than shine — it should support who you're becoming.
